Background
After completing my Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major at Curtin University WA, I worked as a commercial accountant, from Assistant Accountant through to Finance & Administration Manager over the last 15 years. I have been involved in end to end bookkeeping and payroll in the following industries: Western Australia Gold Mining, Commercial Fishing, Internet & Telephony Providers, Petroleum Industry – Transport & Delivery, Retail & Wholesale shop fronts, Trucking & Transport Contractors to the Mining Industry and Machinery on Dry Hire.
I have had 7 years experience in a managerial capacity, entrusted with the supervision of the companies accounting, administration and finance division, with up to 5 support staff. I have had experience with various different accounting software platforms including QuickBooks, MYOB (Stand alone & Cloud based) and larger internally produced systems for the likes of Caltex Australia & Gull Petroleum distributors.
I have recently completed a Dual Accounting & Bookkeeping Certificate and in the process of obtaining accreditation with the ATO to submit BAS on behalf of my clients. Since starting my bookkeeping business I have helped clients who use MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks accounting packages.
